MAC Antiqued Eyeshadow : Review + Swatches

Antiqued is not your typical dark brown. It has a beautiful hint of golden shimmer. I love the Veluxe Pearl finish. This color is super pigmented, and works great as an eyelid contour color, or a dark brown liner. MAC describes this as an "Ash brown with bronze"

Available at Mac Cosmetics $15

Tresemme Nourishing Rituals Hair Serum Review

From the Company:

How it works:
Formulated with a combination of coconut, argan oil, and other nourishing ingredients, Cashmere Touch Hydrating Serum helps to dramatically control frizz and restore hair's silky, smooth appearance.

How to use:

1. Dispense 3-4 pumps, or as much needed for your hair type, of Cashmere Touch Hydrating Serum into your hands
2. Apply uniformly to damp or dry hair
3. Do not rinse product out
4. Finish your look with your favorite TRESemme styling product (Avoid contact with eyes.)

This serum works wonders. I don't have problems with tangles in my hair, but this smooths out my hair and prevents static. Once my hair is halfway dry, I pump some product in my palms, rub it together and evenly apply it to the bottom of my hair. I wouldn't recommend applying this directly on the scalp or even the top of the hair, as it can be too greasy.
Lastly, I comb through my hair out, leaving it to dry and resulting into soft hair.

Available at your local drugstore , I got mine at Target for around $ 5-6 (3.3 fl oz)

NYX Trio in "Guru" Review + Swatches

I picked this trio up especially for the third color, a warm pink color with a hint of golden rose shimmer.  However, the pigmentation and formula of all 3 shadows impressed me. The shadows feel buttery to the touch, and a little bit of product leaves a strong color pay off.
The only thing I do not like is that the first and second shade share the same gold undertone. I would like to see a matte color , as all 3 are shimmery.

Available at Ulta $9

NYX: Mega Shine Lipgloss in Tea Rose

From the company:
Kiss me quick! Our signature Mega Shine Lip Gloss delivers shine, moisture and softness and envelops lips with glistening color. The finish is both creamy and steamy and ensures knockout glamour. A blend of mineral and lanolin oils helps protect the pout. Available in 50 almost sinful lip gloss shades.

Tea rose is a medium pink gloss with no shimmer. It's gorgeous by itself or layered over a lipstick, I generally use it over MAC " Hot Gossip"
Despite being just another "pink" lipgloss, I like the formula and the shine. As it starts to wear off after 2 hours, my lips are left moisturized. The only down side to this is the smell. It has a strong scent of cherry. This may be favored by others, but personally, I prefer non scented.

Avaliable : and Ulta , $5-6

MAC : Rebel Lipglass Review + Swatches

This isn't the typical color I would consider on the spot at the store. However, after swatching it on my hand, I loved the color pay off and the color is very different from all the other pink lipglosses I have. Rebel may look scary in the tube, but when applied, it can be sheered out. I would describe this as a deep grape gloss. MAC describes this as a "midtonal cream plum"
The great thing about this product is that it can be added in your makeup routine as an everyday color, or for a more intense look, the color is certainly buildable.

Avaliable at Mac Cosmetics, $15 , (4.8 g)

Reviva Labs : Rosewater Facial Spray

 From the company:

Natural extract of rose oil makes this Facial Spray very refreshing and stimulating. Hold bottle 8 inches from face when spraying. After daytime cleansing and moisturizing, mist face, pat-in, mist again after makeup is applied. At night, mist before night cream is applied (because hydrated skin aids absorption.) You'll find dozens of other uses. For male and female athletes, this mist is a great refresher and cleansing aid. Skin will look fresher, feel softer and subsequently look better. Benefits: refresh skin & set makeup, spray away perspiration, moisturize skin & hair in dry weather.

This rosewater spray does a really good job refreshing the face. I used it last summer, when the weather was warm and sticky, my skin was instantly relieved as soon as I dispensed 2 pumps of this.
I have dry skin all year round, so this is a must have to moisturize and refresh my skin.

When I use it:
- Right after cleansing my face , a light spritz - follow up by moisturizer
- Throughout the day ( this products sets my makeup as well!)
- At night after I cleanse my face

As you can imagine, my skin happily absorbs this product at least 5-10 spritz a day.
This product has lasted me a good 3 months.

Available at Ulta and ,  $ 9  (8 oz.)
