Origins 24 hours Protectors Set

From the company:
Protect your youth with our age-fighting favorites.
Includes:
A Perfect World™ SPF 25 Age-defense moisturizer with White Tea 1.7 oz / 50 ml
A Perfect World™ Antioxidant moisturizer with White Tea .5 oz / 15 ml
A Perfect World™ Antioxidant cleanser with White Tea 1 fl. oz. / 30 ml

With my dry skin and slight oily on my t-zone, I was in a search for an oil free hydrating cream that meets the needs of my skin. I've been eyeing the A Perfect World™ SPF 25 Age-defense moisturizer with White Tea for a while now, and saw that they had a kit with a travel bag, the full size cream, and two travel size extras for the same price as if you would buy the cream alone!

I haven't't tried the cleanser yet, so an updated review will be posted soon.
The moisturizer had a light fresh scent. My skin felt smooth and comfortable after applying it. This jar seems to have quite a lot of product. I see it lasting me a good amount of time.

Inglot 17 TL Eye Brush and 569 Brow Powder

I've been filling my brows in lately, and wanted a brush to precisely shape my brows. I picked out a dark brown brow powder that I inserted into my freedom system palette that currently also holds three shadows.
The brush felt really well made, and I will post an update on how it lasts after a few washes.
Also, an update will be posted of an before and after brow look soon.

Inglot AMC Cream Concealer :Best Cream concealer for winter/dry skin

From the company: Rich in Vitamin A and E the Cream concealer uses pigments and light to provide the "SOFT FOCUS" effect

My first purchase from Inglot was the freedom system palette and three eye shadows which I reviewed here.
This time, while browsing at the counter, I focused more on their face products. I am in dire need of a high coverage concealer that can hide my acne scars. With dry skin, most concealers tend to cake up on me or accentuate my dry patches. The sales associate told me this was full coverage and creamy.
I got the shade 62.
After swatching it and testing it out on my skin, I fell in love with the texture and performance of this concealer. Is it possible for a concealer to be almost glossy? It gave out such a natural and radiant finish while concealing my dark spots.
I've been on a winning streak with Inglot so far. High quality makeup and budget friendly.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder : Mood Light , Review + Swatches

From the company:A wardrobe of six universal finishing powders that recreate the most exquisitely flattering light—from ethereal moonlight to luminous candlelight. Each powder captures, diffuses and softens surrounding light with groundbreaking photoluminescent technology. Apply powder all over the face using Ambient Powder Brush as the final step for a flawless complexion. "Mood" is described as a sheer lavender pink.

The packing of this face powder is mirrored and reflective, very fancy. The purpose of this is to be used to set the foundation and create a natural flattering "light" to the complexion. Don't let the lavender pink part scare you away! Once applied, it was almost transparent in terms of color. I find this to be luxurious and smooth over my foundation. This photographed beautifully and didn't mess with my foundation/concealer. This din't dry out my skin nor did it completely mattify my face (not that I want it to!) It gave my skin a natural radiance (without the sparkly shimmer that I detest) and will now be my holy grail setting powder. Now, if you tend to get oily on your t-zone, I recommended using a specific mattify powder, and use this on the rest of your face.

Benefit Cosmetics: Sugarbomb Ultra Plush Gloss Review and Swatches

From the company:
Our new plush glosses glide on extra smooth and feel ahhh-mazingly silky & luxurious. The six irresistible shades, from sultry nudes to punchy pinks, come in soft-squeeze tubes with a custom tip designed for perfectly even application. Beauty bonus: They’re the perfect partners for our bestselling box o’ powders!

Benefit describes this gloss as "shimmery pinky nude". While I don't have the actual Sugarbomb blush powder to compare it to, I would describe this gloss a rose beige nude.
If only all the glosses I owned had such plush texture!!

The texture of this gloss is VERY plush. It feel super comfortable on the lips, and so hydrating.

WANTABLE November Accessories Box: Pictures and Review

From the company:

About Wantable

We create unique customer profiles by asking customers a series of product and personality questions. We then use this data to introduce customers to assortments of products perfectly suited to their personal taste.

Discovery Commerce

Each month our in-house and guest curators hand-pick beauty and fashion jewelry products from hundreds of quality boutique, specialty, and premium vendors to find the best on-trend items. Then we use each customer’s unique profile and purchase history to select the perfect set of products just for them. How do we do it? Some say magic, and it certainly seems that way. We say it’s a combination of talented curators and cool technology. Our customers are unique, so no two boxes are ever the same.

Wantable offers three different subscriptions,( makeup, jewelry, and intimates). I took a style quiz for the jewelry box last Thursday and received it today. I must say, the shipping time is impressive. The contents in my box may not be the same as others, as they are based on my personal style choice.
The box is sleek and nicely packaged. All items were safe during the shipping

The first thing I got was a scarf from Collection Eighteen. It's white with black lace print. I find the scarf to be very appropriate for this time of season, as it is getting really cold. "Lacey Scarf" retails for $32

Next are solid studs. These are simple, smooth and gold. These "Sarah Jane Earrings" retail for $18

Last but not least is a statement necklace. The "Ellen Necklace" retails for $36

If you are interested, subscribe for wantable for $36 monthly or $40 for one box.
Of course, the price is higher than most subscriptions (ranging from $10-20), but the value of the box exceeds the price your paying, either monthly or individually.
This also makes a great present for the upcoming holidays. Another thing I would like to mention, as far as I can tell about the jewelry box, the value is worth more as you can't really get "sample" products like you would with a makeup box.If you're still hesitant about the price compared t a $10 monthly box...think of it this way:  After a few uses of the tiny makeup samples, your basically done with the product and the box itself.
The jewelry/accessories pieces in this box can be worn countless times.
The total retail value of this box is $86

Sehora Contour Eye Pencil 12hr Wear Waterproof : Rooftop Party (16) Swatches and Review

From the company:
What it is:
A contouring eye pencil for a big, beautiful look that lasts up to 12 hours.

What it does:
Enhance and enliven your eyes with the bold, long-wearing color of these eye pencils. The silky formula is resistant to water, heat, and humidity, ensuring up to 12 hours of smudge-less wear.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Phthalates

I was looking for an olive green eyeliner when Fall started. I generally don't wear a lot of colored eyeliner, but olive green is a very wearable shade and brings out my brown eyes.
Rooftop party has a shimmery sheen, no chunky sparkle detected. It's very pigmented on the first pass, and stayed on my waterline for 10 hours. I agree this is definitely waterproof, but isn't a hassle to remove like most eyeliners that won't budge even with makeup remover.

Black Platinum is a stormy grey black with subtle blue shimmer. This color is very interesting and different from your typical solid black polish. It starts out a bit sheer, but once 2-3 coats is applied, you get a beautiful true-to-bottle color.

Coat of Arms is a shimmery gold and had perfect color payoff in two coats. I can see this as a great holiday color. Once again, the brush applied the color evenly and the pigmentation of this polish was amazing.

Gray-T escape is a ballerina pink. I find most pinks to be sheer and almost clear when applied. Gray-T was smooth and opaque after just two coats.

Sally Hansen Triple Shine : Pearly Whites Swatches and Review

Pearly Whites is best used as a top coat to amp up your polish. It's a clear jelly with multi color sparkles. I even spotted a triangular shape in there! While I love sparkle polishes, they are a pain to remove. However, this removed easily and looked great underneath the sunlight.

I used this as a top coat over the Sally Hansen polish in "Commander in Chic"

Commander in Chic is a mauve grey. The formula of this polish was smooth and creamy. I love the brushes of these polishes from the "Complete Salon Manicure" line. The brush evenly distributes the color on my nails without streaking the polish.

This color is great for fall and winter. Below is a swatch of two coats.

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Color : Red-io Active, No S-pear Time, Pink Fast, Chop Chop Copper, and Quick Jeanius

From the company:
Nail color covers in just one coat, brilliantly. The Perfectionist Brush™ contours to any nail, so color always glides on precisely, quickly, flawlessly. And, the exclusive Flexiglass Complex combines beautiful, brilliant shine and super-strong wear. So simple, so Sally.

All of these polishes were a breeze to apply. The applicator made the polish smooth and even.
Chop Chop Copper was the sheerest of them all. I would use this as a glitter  top coat only.
The rest of the polishes are pigmented with only one coat. The swatches below are two coats.

Pink fast is a bright magenta pink with silver frost.

Red-io Active is a cherry tomato red

No S-pear Time is a frosty yellow olive green. This color applied fully pigmented in one coat was was very smooth.

Quick Jeanius is a denim blue with a strong silver frost

Jet Set Jade is a blue forest green.

Chop Chop Copper is applied very sheer, like a sparkly champagne top coat.

Deborah Lippmann Celopatra In New York : Swatches and Review

From the company:
All the glitz and glam of New York City nightlife at your fingertips. Layer it on and live like the glitterati.

Cleopatra In New York is described as a gold studded black. The first layer was a bit uneven, and the black was jelly like. After 2-3 coats, the black was medium coverage. The glitter spread evenly after a while. I love how it looks. Of course, it may be a pain to remove this, but this polish is worth it!

Maybelline Great Lash Vision In Violet Mascara : Swatches and Review

I remember when the first great lash color mascara came out about 2 years ago, I got the color in " Teal appeal" which looked electric blue on my black lashes. I loved the mascara till it was all dried out. This summer, I saw the displays of the color mascaras, with more color choices. I chose a purple one and found teal appeal again, which I will review next.

If you have the original Great Lash mascara(my first ever mascara when I started to wear makeup!), the brush and the formula is the same. The brush isn't lengthening or volumizing at all. These are meant for coating your lashes in color. You can apply a voluminous/lengthening mascara first, then add a boost of color on your lases with this mascara. In the pictures below, I only applied the mascara by itself so you can see how it actually looks like on bare lashes. The shape of the brush is quite wide, as in, it took many wiggles to get the product on all my lashes for the full color application.

Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow palette : Pinks and Purple; Swatches + Review

From the company:

Freedom palettes come in a range of sizes and for a range of products. A magnetic layer on the bottom of the palette holds pans in place but also allows you to rearrange and exchange each item for convenience and easy product replenishment.

A quick summary of my first Inglot Freedom System experience-
When I first saw the huge displays of what seems like an endless colors of eye shadows, I was drawn to the Inglot section in Macy's.The sales ladys gave me a magnetic plate, and told me to choose the eyeshadows on the display(held on by magnetics as well,) and I can put it all in a palette. I choose the eyeshadow palette with 5 single eyeshadows. Then, went ahead and choose 5 colors, however, 2 were outof stock, so right now, I only have 3 filled.

Long story short, after having both my arms filled with swatches, I was amazed at how buttery and pigmented the shadows were. I will go back soon and complete my palette, and maybe start a face palette.

Ok, review time ...

The palette -

As stated before, this palette is customiozable, and come in various amounts of sizes. The one I got holds 5 pans of shadows. It's slim, sleek, and magnetics at both sides, so you can completely take off the cover, or slide it open on one end. This is definetly travel friendly, as it is sleek and doesn't take up much space. It is also user friendly, as removing/adding shadows into the palette is a breeze, without denting or scratching the shadows itself.

The first color I got was "AMC Shine 22" This is a medium purple with subtle shimmer. For thosewh are more comfortable with browns and nudes(like me) , this purple will add a great pop of color without being too crazy. It's very wearble, super pigmentented, and work well as an eyeliner as well.

Next, I got the shade in "AMC Shine 48". This is s solid pink with very light silver shimmer. So light, it barely transfers to skin, leaving a sheen. I stray away from pink eyeshadows, as most are too chunky and make me look sick. This shade of pink, combined with the great formulation, makes it easy to wear as an all over lid color.

Last but not least, is "Pearl 399", a pinky beige. Oh my. This is the most buttery eyeshadow I have every felt. It is so smooth and the pigmentation is right on. Pearl 399 is a must have neutral pink. It has a slight satin finish, no shimmer at all. The sheen really brightens up the eye area.

While these three are the shadows I hve so far, I plan on adding more to my collection. I am super impressed with the formuation and the pigmentation of these eyeshadows.

Have you tried anything from Inglot? Any recommendations?
